Utility Bill Requirements
- Utility Name (you must have the correct utility name)
- Historic Usage
- We will be looking for an EXACT match between the usage on the bill and what is entered into the proposal tool/Origin
- If your bill has 12 months of EXACT usage, you must put in the 12 months exactly as shown on the Utility Bill (this is about 20% of utility bills)
- If your bill has only ONE month of usage and a graph representing the other months, you must have an EXACT MATCH for that month that you turn in for review .
- Example, if your turn in a utility bill for the month of December, that shows December usage of 1256 KWh, you must put in a 1256 into the usage for the month of December which will then show in ORIGIN.
- The other 11 months should be accurately reflect a best estimate
- For homeowners that have not been in the house for a full year, we expect you to use one of the two methods above and reasonable project the other months.
- We will be looking for an EXACT match between the usage on the bill and what is entered into the proposal tool/Origin
- Late/Overdue Bills with $1000 or more due will not be accepted and the consumer will have to show the next bill that they are not overdue if this gets flagged for us to move forward
